My baby will not sleep on his crib for longer than 3 hours alone - Julian's story

Julian was 11 months and he was waking up 2-3 times at night. His parents were reactively bed-sharing because they didn’t know how to get him back to sleep in his crib.

“Julian did not sleep on his crib, he only slept stretches of 3 to 4 hours, and he needed assistance to fall asleep.”

Julian was also feeding at each wake up at night and going through separation anxiety at bedtime.

His mom was skepticle that it would be possible to have him sleep 11-12 hrs in his crib and drop his night feeds.

Together we got little Julian on a great daytime schedule, optimising his day sleep and preventing him from getting overtired/undertired so his body worked with us to help him sleep easier.

We moved him into his crib and made sure his sleep space was ideal and giving him the best conditions for sleep.

We got him on a weaning plan to reduce night feeds slowly and shifted his calorie intake to the daytime where he could get the most nutrients from his food.

We worked with his parents to choose the best sleep training strategy that they felt comfortable with and that worked for them.

This full sleep plan helped piece everything together and with lots of consistency and our ongoing support, sleep was transformed for this family.

“Julian sleeps at least 11 hours a night in his crib. We still cannot believe it. He asks to be in his crib when it's his time to sleep. We are all sleeping and we're extremely relieved. Having a schedule given to us was the most helpful thing. Being taught that he needs a short nap in the morning and a longer one in the afternoon was something we learned and it's been very helpful”

This family was amazed at how fast their little one went from being fussy and getting fractured, inconsistent sleep to actually asking to go to sleep in his crib, all night long!

“The only regret we have is not reaching out for your help any sooner, we did not think this was going to be possible. We struggled with sleep for over 10 months. The first 3 days of sleep training were hard, but now it's amazing knowing he's going to be asleep all night. Which might seem like that's how it should be, but it wasn't in our case. Baby is happy and we're too!”

We are so proud and happy that this family has their sleep back and can now enjoy their time together.

“We are very grateful for this experience and for the support of Lily & Jen throughout this process. We are most happy to have our little one sleeping through the night and knowing how to put himself to sleep. After night 3, he was already sleeping through the night! Our only regret was not contacting them any sooner. 10/10 recommend!”
